A valued place

I have lived in Haywards Heath for 16 years and throughout that time, my family and I have greatly benefitted from events and services based at Clair Hall and the attached Redwood Centre.

My first contact was through the weekly Ceroc Dance classes which I attended until their closure. Before the pandemic hit, I was able to continue my dance at an alternative venue, but this involved a 15 minute drive and has also now closed for good. It would be great to have dance back on my doorstep.

When we started a family, we benefitted from attending second-hand baby / kids sales - with the financial pressure faced by many families today I can see this being of relevance still.

Venue for voting - a good sized, accessible space to facilitate democracy.

My son has been part of the scouting community based in the Redwood Centre for a few years and has recently been invested as a Scout. The activities provided by the Scout leaders are amazing and just what the young people of our town need. The location is ideal too with easy access to outdoor spaces.

These are my stories and I hope to be able to add to them in the future.
