A Very Special Day

Since moving to Lindfield and then Haywards Heath 14 years ago, I have had many enjoyable visits to Clair Hall, including film showings, debates, exhibitions, bands and stand-up comedy (including Romesh Ranganathan when he was a newcomer starting out). I have also enjoyed many similar evenings at The Martlets in Burgess Hill which, of course, we no longer have. The venue is in an ideal central location and great for socialising (and spending money) locally rather than heading into Brighton or London. With a growing population in mid-Sussex, and with some refurbishment, it would be great to make full use…
