An All Round Venue

Since arriving in HH 15 years’ ago I’ve given blood at Clair Hall, watched many films, joined dance classes, sung in a choir and watched musicals and comedy shows - all with parking! There’s nowhere else like it locally and something similar - or better! - is needed for our community.

A needed resource

I have been using Clair Hall for 17 years and do not want to lose this community resource. My favourite event was always the NCT sale of baby and kids clothes and toys which were a lifeline. I give blood here and our family has seen dance recitals, comedy and theatre here. I am glad it is used by Scouts, which is a fantastic programme for young people.

Community Space

It is vital for well being and mental health in general that we have spaces provided for meeting, learning , entertainment and community development. With the current density of new buildings in the centre of our town there is a poor balance between the built environment and spaces in which to live and meet.We need to be able to live and breath and have our being In a beautiful town. It concerns me that the word ‘ beauty’ is hardly appropriate to use in relation to Haywards Heath currently.
