I love Clair Hall

1. A regular member of a Ceroc dance club that used to meet there once a week.

2. In the audience for large amateur performances such as HHOS pantos, and The Full Monty.

3. For more intimate events such as the Comedy Club.

4. To see professional performers such as Griff Rhys Jones (who was wonderful!).

5. To raise funds for charity, including a buffet supper and an awards presentation.

6. I have hired it to host parties.

7. I have performed on stage in amateur performances of song and dance to raise funds for charity.

8. I have attended ballet performances by my nieces' dance club there.

9. Attended as a member and presented at the conference of the HHBA.

10. Given presentations to the Age UK and the Scouts there.

And these are just the ones I can think of within a few minutes....

It is such a great facility, and there is none like it elsewhere in Haywards Heath, nor likely to be in future if we let this one go. I feel passionately that MSDC should be looking to create a new building on this site that is fit for a similar purpose to bring back all the community events and activities that were previously held there.
