Leave Clair Hall Alone

Clair Hall is a COMMUNITY asset and should be handed over to a community group willing to take it on (via a Meanwhile Lease). The Council do not want the responsibility of the site as evidenced in their attempt to steamroller through shutting it down completely.

It is used for Pantomimes, Concerts, Weekly Groups and is a centre for bringing people together and creating a source of Wellbeing for the entire community. I have children and have attended concerts and events in the past (Fashion Show, Postcard & Record fair, Concerts and Pantomime) Clair Hall is ideally located and has on site parking is close to the bus and train station - all positives for it remaining.

Clair Hall has not been kept up to standard by the Council and this is another reason a Community Group should take over the future care of the only Theatre and Arts centre we have in the Mid Sussex District area.
