Project Update – September 2026

Work continues at Hemsleys Meadow and Finches Field as we move towards completing the new community park.

During August, periods of exceptionally hot and dry weather meant our contractor temporarily scaled back site works to reduce airborne dust and minimise disruption for neighbouring residents. While necessary, this has resulted in some delays to the programme.

We are now working closely with our contractor to complete the remaining works as soon as possible and are aiming to open the site later this autumn, subject to final construction, safety inspections and site readiness checks.

Thank you for your continued patience and support while we complete this exciting new green space.
