Project Update: May 2026

CHAFFINCH CLOSE PLAY AREA

A small fenced area on Saxby Road in the northwest suburbs of Burgess Hill, we are considering the best outcome for this space.

We will talk to local residents in due course to understand how this space might best be used.

In the meantime we will be removing the old surfacing and reinstating grass so the space can be opened up for use.

The basketball hoop will remain unaffected and available for use.

TEMPLE GROVE PLAY AREA

While we will review the best use of the existing space, it will include new play equipment.

We will seek public view on new play equipment designs in due course, and resident feedback will inform the final choice.

PRIMROSE CLOSE PLAY AREA

We are planning to improve access to the existing facilities here, as part of our wider planning of the three parks in this area.

We plan to commence this work over this summer.
