A Community asset of vast importance to Haywards Heath
Anything from live music (Nils Lofgren, Ricky Ross, The Blues Band, The Blunter Brothers to name just a few) to the comedy nights and also as a venue for works parties. Also having cinema screenings, talks, theatre shows taking place. It’s use as a hub for the elderly, breast screening and COVID vaccine centre proves its worth to the community.
Although the building itself could do with updating and modernising, something that should have been done by the local council spread over the last twenty years or so, the location of Clair Hall is ideal.
Plenty of parking, close proximity to the train station and on the Northern fringes of town it’s easy to get to however you travel to it.
Clair Hall needs to be saved and it is more important now then ever before, especially as Burgess Hill has had the heart ripped out of it by the council and developers and their venue, the Martletts Hall is sadly no more.
