Arts and our Community

Clair Hall is one of those facilities that seems to have faded in the consciousness of so many people with in the town but I truly believe that as a community asset if it was ever taken away from us as residents we would regret it. We need a focal point within our community not only as a community space but also as a platform within the community for the arts. I've had so many great experiences there, comedy nights, pantomimes, parties, civic events and other meetings over the last 20 years since we moved to Haywards Heath but the building does not looking inviting anymore. We all drive past thinking of the memories. We've all realised over the past months that it's important for the town and beyond to come together and be entertained therefore this space needs to be re imagined for future generations and sit in the middle of Haywards Heath and Mid Sussex life once again so we can once again be proud and inspired by the entertainment offerings we have in the town as it expands and continues to evolve.
