Redwood and Clair Hall

Although I live in Burgess Hill I have for decades visited Clair Hall most notably for theatre evenings, and other "arts" events, often looking at the listings alongside the greatly missed Martletts Hall. Most recently of course visiting as the Covid vaccination centre for our area.

The Redwood Centre attached to the same building is however also of great value, I am an active Scouter in Burgess Hill, and although we have our own HQ's the Redwood Centre has often been used by us in recent years as an ideal venue to provide training for both adults and young people, for large scale social events with its catering sized kitchen and for fund raising events.

This kind of resource is vital for a thriving scouting community and we desperately need to retain use of such a venue in the heart of our community.
