Shows, parties and toddler groups

I've lived near Haywards heath most of my life. I've seen panto's, clairvoyants, films, at Clair hall. I've been involved in charity fashion shows. Dance performances and attended birthday parties here. It was also good as a blood donation centre and a toddler group, both of which I also attended. I will never forget the public meeting held there to discuss the A&E and maternity department at PRH. We faught for that, and we'll fight to keep Clair hall too!

Community space

We have enjoyed comedy and family theatre events at Claire hall over the years. There is nowhere else like this in HH and we need a lot more of it. With town centres no longer able to rely on retail to keep them alive we need an exhibition, workshop, performance and community well being space. Something for young people would be invaluable too. There is so little for teenagers in the town to do and perhaps in the evening it could host events to bring young people together and engage them in positive and collaborative activities

Community Centre

Before the decision to close, I was making blood donations 3 or 4 times a year at the Hall. I now have to travel to Uckfield or Burgess Hill. My family has used the car park weekly for Park Run on a Saturday morning, and we have attended several events there in recent years. My daughter has now started Primary School and I'm sure we would make use of the centre for even more events in the future. Most recently both myself and my wife visited the Hall to receive Covid vaccinations. I'd suggest the use of the Hall over…
