Why? These are popular well used community sites

The Redwood centre operates at near capacity! As chair of Hurst Scouts Exec I can attest to it’s importance for Scouting.

It is leased to Mid Sussex Scouts, HQ’s 10th Haywards Heath group, as well as providing an area for all sorts of Scout related training as well as being an overall HQ for Mid Sussex Scouting. In addition it is a useful building for our events, meetings, fundraisers and so on.

A nursery operates 7am-6pm, a church on Sundays as well as the place being available for private hire.

I am not as familiar with Clair Hall, but I do know it is a well appreciated and useful community building, holding many events, well appreciated by the local community.

I cannot understand why this is even being considered!
