Frequently visited
I have only lived in Haywards Heath for 6 years but in that time all the clubs and associations I have since joined seem to have led to Clair Hall in one way or another.
Choir I have rehearsed and performed on the stage with this choir
Dance I have performed on the stage in dance shows with Dance with Emily, a local dance school for adults
Art I am a water colour artist and have exhibited a number of times at Clair Hall
U3A As a member I have attended a number of talks and meetings including the AGM. There is no other hall large
enough in the area to cater for the numbers that attend.
Charity I have been a volunteer at a charity Christmas party for children for a number of years and have also performed
in shows in aid of charity
In addition to the above I have been to film and comedy nights and have seen ballet performances there.
Lastly, where would we have been without Clair Hall for Covid vaccinations. It is ideally situated near bus and train
services and is an extremely valuable asset to the community. Yes it does need some TLC but it is absurd to say it is
no longer fit for purpose and should be pulled down. No decision should be made on it's future until another viable
venue is found or provided.
