Background 

In Autumn 2021, we asked local people what we could do to improve London Road Recreation Ground in Hassocks. Landscape Architects prepared draft designs based on the feedback we received. 

The designs showed long term plans for how the space could be improved over time. 

In Spring 2022, people had the chance to comment on the design and say what their priorities were. Our Landscape Architects have considered everyone’s comments and made minor changes to reflect the views we heard. They have also recommended which of the improvement projects to prioritise based on the most popular ones chosen.

We are using those plans and the estimated delivery costs, to secure funding.
